catching exception and logging relevant information
using jScript we have out TestComplete scripts wrapped in a try/catch .. On failure, we log out e.message/e.additionalInformation but in most cases it's a generic object message which is not helpful at all. Anyone know a solution to getting any relivant infomation out of the exception, for example Line Number, stack traces? I tried the following but it didn't work, since there seems to be no SelectedRows property. //gridView.SelectedRows(ind).Index //where ind ranges from 0 to gridView.SelectedRows.Count. I also tried this code below, but SelectedItems does not have an index Property gridView.SelectedItems(ind).Index where ind ranges from 0 to gridView.SelectedItems.Count.6.9KViews0likes1CommentRe: Google has now removed npapi support from Chrome, what is SmartBear doing about Chrome support?

Thanks Helen, I tried this approach as I saw it mentioned previously, but for me it throws a runtime error. In my case the wMax is 165 so i do the following <someObject>.wPosition(165); What I get when I run this is a jScript runtime error. I am testing a Flex application and in my application is a VScrollBar[mx.controls::VScrollBar object], I don't see an obvious method to set the scrollBar to a specific position or to Min/Max. Does such a method exist? The properties I see which are somewhat useful, wMax, wMin, wPosition which all return a value. I could write a custom method to keep clicking the up or down arrow but i was hoping to not have to do this. Thanks,Solved1.3KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Add Script Extensions Programatically
I don't have much say in how the repositories and branches are setup ... This being the case we checkin to a merge branch, run a sample of tests to validate nothing is broken and then the code is merged to our regression branch where we run our from suites from. Our tests are just .sj files, some of which are data driven and they utilize a majority of our framework which resides in script extension. Unfortiently, not being able to set the Script Exntions to load script extensions forsay folrder "a" prior to running from the merge branch and folder "b" prior to running regression makes things difficult..1.9KViews0likes1Comment
