Re: Can we change project properties at run time (Playback, Post Image on Error) ?
Hi AlexKaras, Wefell into this problem again. Although the code you provided, we are still unable to managethe "post image on error" functionality. Do you have any idea if the new TC 10 provide a way to control such Project Properties ? Thank you! Anik2.2KViews0likes0Commentshow to create report with linked items

We created a project suite with one project. Then we cloned the project to create 12 similar projects within the Suite. Thenwe decided to create10Project Variables in project #1. How can we copy or clone those 10 Project Variables to allother 12 projects? Manually this will take more than 200 clicks ! When launching a test from QAComplete to a virtual machine where SoapUI (free version) is installed and the project is present, the project seems to run correctly, but finishes with a FAIL. In the Test Run Details, we see at the step : Uploading logs and reports... Actural Result: Unable to enumerate the contents of the directory C:\Users\AQL-UT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Run4297_1\Report: The system cannot find the path specified. In the folderC:\Users\AQL-UT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Run4297_1\, there is no folder named "Report", but there is a file named Project Report.zip Do we absolutely need SoapUI Pro on the remote machine to get a PASS result in QAComplete ?Solved9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews0likes1Comment- 2.6KViews0likes1Comment
Is it possible to write data to an Excel file without having Office installed ?
We developped testing scripts using TestComplete on our computer which has Office installed. One of the function writes data to an Excel file. We want the script to run with TestExecute on 10 different machines, depending of the configuration we want to test. We know Excel must be installed to run COM objects, as explained in this post:http://smartbear.com/forums/f81/fp24/t89448/problem-in-working-with-excel-via-com-server/ . Obviously, we don't want to buy an Office licence for each of the virtual machines. Is there anyone that has found a good solution for this ?2.2KViews0likes2Comments
