Hello Tanya, FYI ... Technologies Used for my APP Dev : C#.Net,C++,SQL Server 2008,.Net Framework 3.5/4.0 TC Version I am using: 9.013 & 9.20 Is the same issue persisting on All TC versions----> Yes. Sometimes it showing as WinFormsObject() and Windows().I did not face this problem with TV V8.7. Look like TC 8.7 is a stable version...:) --------------------------------------------- Answers below: Please answer the following questions to help us understand the issue you faced: 1. What .NET Framework is used to build your app?-----> V4.0 2. What .NET Framework versions are installed on the computer?---> No ".NET Framework" installer on my desktop. 3. Is the problem reproduced with a sample app shipped along with TestComplete?----> Nope, in sample app,the object SPY is working fine ,i mean it displaying WinformsObject(). You can find it here: Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008:<Users>\Public\Documents\TestComplete 9 Samples\Open Applications\C# Other operating systems:<Documents and Settings>\All Users\Documents\TestComplete 9 Samples\Open Applications\C#1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Click button not working in test complete

Correction in Above post: Pre requiste conditions: 1. Rename above method hasFunctionTextBox() 2. Invoke GetBackgroundColor () in "FunctionTextBox()" example: FunctionTextBox() { .... GetBackgroundColor () ......; ........; }2.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: How to find background colour of Text Box of Edit Control ?
Thansks for the reply. Pre requiste conditions: 1. Above method and Rename it hasFunctionTextBox() 2. Invoke GetBackgroundColor () in FunctionTextBox() Below is the source code snippet for finding the background color of the button/Text etc... At present the below method checks whether the color is "Green" Or not.? Simillary we can implement the same logic for the other colors like "Orange","Blue" etc...in that case we need to use Switch(Color) case: //============================================================================================================================================= /* Function: GetBackgroundColor Desc: Gets the background color for the control. Input: None Return: biSColorChanged Status: final Date: 17 Jan 2013 //=============================================================================================================================================*/ function GetBackgroundColor() { biSColorChanged = false; var ULColor = ULEditBoxObj1.BackColor; var ULRed = ULColor.get_R(); // R-->0 var ULGreen = ULColor.get_G();//G-->204 var ULBlue = ULColor.get_B();//B-->0 ; HEX-> #00CC00 var ULRGBValue1 = aqString.Concat(ULRed,ULGreen); var ULRGBValue2 = aqString.Concat(ULRGBValue1,ULBlue); if(ULRGBValue2 == Project.Variables.RGB) { Log.Message("Underlying Textbox Background color is changed to Green:"); biSColorChanged = true; } else { Log.Warning("Underlying Textbox Background color is NOT changed to Green:") biSColorChanged; } return biSColorChanged; } Regards, Kumar2.6KViews0likes0Comments
