Invoke TestComplete from a Web Page developed on .NET
I am trying to invoke TestComplete from a web page developed on .NET 4.5 and HTML5. I am using the code given in the following path https://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/75758/. I am able to successfully invoke TestComplete, but it lands into error as the following command fails Application.DoEvents(); The particular command is used for Windows Forms and not for Web application. Could some one advise what is the equivalent method or process to replace Application.DoEvents() in Web application. Thanks626Views0likes0CommentsRe: Entering value into child grid
Hi There Thanks for the response. I don't have any issues in working with simple Grid. The issue is accessing the values in a hierarchical Grid. A grid contains, say 10 rows and each and every contains child records. I have issues in accessing the child grid. Sankar K1.1KViews0likes0CommentsEntering value into child grid
Hi there I am trying to enter data into a hierarchical ultra win grid. For example the table contains 10 rows and each and every row contains a child view that contains multiple rows as well. (screen shot attached) I am able to enter data into the master row using the following code and it is successful GridW.Table("RearrangeFormat").Row("Template Add Row").Cell("Format Name").Value = "AUTO0100" GridW.Table("RearrangeFormat").Row("Template Add Row").Cell("Description").Value = "AUTO0100" The point is that I couldn't use the following code as these are list / combo boxes where the value displayed on the screen is different from that is actually stored in the fields Grid.wValue(80,"Format Name")= "AUTO0009" The Issus is that I am able to enter data for the master row and I couldn't do the same for the child view. If I use wValue, the application doesn't accept this and I am not sure how to use Table syntax for the child view Appreciate your help1.3KViews0likes3CommentsError in DDT Driver

Hi There I read data from Excel using DDT and it is working fine. I pass one SQL statement from Excel which is more than 350 character length. The statement is not fully read and the string available in TestComplete after reading is only 250 characters and rest is truncated. Could you please let me know is there any restriction in reading number of characters / length of a string from Excel File Thanks Sankar KSolved2.5KViews0likes3CommentsChecking success of DB transaction

I want to know whether the last statement AConnection.Execute_ is successful or not. Hi There I am developing a generic framework and I am passing Name Mapping, child objects to be searched (set of properties and their values) and the actual values to be entered into the text fields For example after reading from Excel, TestComplete will form a code block like this Result = Findarow("SecuritySetup","Grid_Wrapper","CompanyGrid","Company","SAKI2","Company") SecuritySetup is the alias name, Grid_Wrapper is the object type and CompanyGrid is the object name, I would like find the value "SAKI2" in the column header "Company". After finding the row, I will click at the column "Company" Now my challenge is that a column name as shown by object spy is "Authorization"&Chr(13)&Chr(10)&"Status". So while passing through excel it will be passed as "Authorization&Chr(13)&Chr(10)&Status". After reading it as a string from Excel, I would like to find the special characters chr(13) and chr(10) and pass them as special characters and not as strings. Appreciate your inputsSolved2.1KViews0likes2Comments
