OnStartTest and OnStopTest occasionally not executing
Greetings. I'm running TestExecute 9.31. Our tests are organized in test suites, with about 10-20 tests per test suite. Sometimes, when I run an individual test suite, the OnStartTest and OnStopTest events do not fire, causing tests to misbehave. WHen the test suite starts, these events process fine. Then, midway through the test suite, the events will just stop firing for no apparent reason. All preceeding tests pass, and the scripts for preceeding tests run to completion. Any ideas? Thanks!2KViews0likes3CommentsRe: TC9.1: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.
I'm getting this error when accessing properties of MSAA objects in our C++ app. When I run the tests from Test Complete on my own machine, everything is fine and I can access the MSAA properties just fine. However, when I run tests from VMs using Test Execute, I'm getting this error most of the time, but not always. The object invoked has disconnected from its clients The line that has the error just acceses the "Location" property of an object, something like this: if ((objItem.Location.SLeft==0 && objItem.Location.Width==0 && objItem.Location.STop==0 && objItem.Location.Height==0)) return false; As I said, it works fine from Test Complete, but fails in Test Execute. We are using version 9.20 of both. Any advice??1.9KViews0likes0Comments
