Re: ClickItem is selecting each drop-down item in latest TestComplete instead of required item
Hi, We are still having this issue, especially in chrome where generally we use it to run our tests. Have you got any solution? Raised a support case to TC, but so far no specific answer from them. Thanks446Views0likes1CommentCan TestComplete support both normal web test and cross-platform web test in the same project?
Now if I set a project for cross-platform web test (using Bitbar) by configuring it to use XPath expressions and CSS selectors to locate objects on web pages, the classic scripts I wrote before cannot be used in this project anymore. For example, the SetValueForTextBox script in the below picture cannot be executed in the cross-platform project. However, I need to run some normal steps and cross-platform steps in the same test. For example, the system will upload some files on the portal first (normal web test), then login to the mobile ui interface and check the files. (cross-platform web test) Is it possible to implement both classic and cross-platform scripts in the same project?10 months agoPlace TestComplete QuestionsTestComplete Questions239Views0likes1CommentIssue - since upgraded to 15.51 - test script not picking up the correct item from the list box.
Same script work well in 14.9 version but not in 15.51 selecting the correct item from the list box. 'OptionValue' is what we are passing as parameter, but instead it picks up wrong item from the list box. This works perfectly well in 14.9 version of Testcomplete! Here is my test script: function SetValueForDropDown(DropDownLabel, ValueToFind, OptionValue) { Options["Run"]["ObjectSearchStrategy"] = "Depth-first"; var AllObjects = Sys.Browser("chrome") Indicator["PushText"]("Locating drop-down list.") var DropDownList = AllObjects["FindChild"](DropDownLabel, ValueToFind, 100, true) var acc = 0 while(DropDownList.Exists == false && acc < 5) { Delay(1000) Sys.Browser("chrome").Refresh() var DropDownList = AllObjects["FindChild"](DropDownLabel, ValueToFind, 100000, true) acc++ } if(DropDownList.Exists == true) { Indicator["PushText"]("Operating the drop-down to select options.") DropDownList.ClickItem(OptionValue) } else { Log["Error"]("Drop-down List " + ValueToFind + "Not Found") } }349Views1like2CommentsRe: Connecting testcomplete and bitbar
Once upgraded to version 15.51, able to establish a connectivity to Bitbar. Follow up question, do we need to buy additional license to test in Bitbar mobile devices from testcomplete?12 months agoPlace TestComplete QuestionsTestComplete Questions205Views0likes0CommentsConnecting testcomplete and bitbar
Hi, I've started a mobile automation project in Testcomplete using keyword scripting and trying to connect to Bitbar. However when I try to use 'Runremotebrowser' operation, it is prompting me to enter crossbrowsertesting application credentials. I was expecting it to prompt me for Bitbar activation code. Anybody has this issue before? We have paid subscription for Bitbar and Testcomplete web testing enabled. Testcomplete version 14.92.596. Thanks in advance.265Views0likes2Comments
