Preparing Jenkins for Running TestComplete Tests
Hi, Please see the below questions and respond back ASAP. We are using an AWS EC2 Windows as a Jenkins Node. Online TestComplete documentation covers some of the below aspects but we want to confirm it. After all the GPO policy changes have been done per documentation, we want to understand the access posture of EC2. 1) Is the account used for test automation be used to log in to Windows Node as an RDP user from the Jenkins plug-in - if Yes, Is the account used for test automation needs to be made part of the Remote Access group (RDP) 2) Are we making the Windows node open to all users? meaning if anyone knows the IP address, can they log in to the server Thanks, Krishna384Views0likes1CommentPreparing Jenkins Nodes for Running TestComplete Tests
In the documentation they clearly said: Add a user account under which you will run tests on the node to theRemote Desktop Usersgroup. I would like to understand this sentence exactly. Which User account should be added here is it related to RDP or Jenkins? I’m not clear about it can you please explain in detail?488Views0likes1CommentPreparing Jenkins for Running TestComplete Tests
Hello, This is Krishnakanth, I went through the documentation on the website. Here is the link:https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/working-with/integration/jenkins/requirements-and-li... I have a couple of questions, do we need really to do these limitations on the server? We are using Windows Server and we have some security concerns. What will happen if we don't disable the secure sign-in and elevation rights? Will Test Complete will work as expected or not?275Views0likes1CommentPreparing Jenkins Nodes for Running TestComplete Tests
