UI Elements defined in the Template of a control not accessable
Hello,
I have problems accessing (via TestLeft UI-Spy) UI-Objects of custom controls when they are defined in the template of the control itself.
I've attached a project which demonstrates my problem.
Am I doing something wrong here, or is this not supported by you at all?
Best regards,
Lorenz

Hi,
In TestComplete / TestExecute this is possible and is controlled on the project level (https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/desktop/wpf/template-support.html). But in TestLeft (maybe because of the absence of project file?) this seems not to be possible. (At least, the Open Applications entry is absent in the Options... menu.)
Maybe @HKosova will be able to comment on your question.
Otherwise, I would recommend to ask Support via the https://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=TestLeft form. (I will appreciate it if you let us know what was Support's reply.)

Hi Lorenz,
@AlexKaras is right - the underlying engine supports WPF control templates, but this is something that is configured via engine options, and the TestLeft Options API currently does not provide access to WPF template options. Please open a support ticket and refer to this thread.
