Do you have a web license for TestComplete? In order to test CEF or other similar technologies where a desktop application has embedded browsers, you need the web license in addition to the Desktop license.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.

Hi Robert,
We have a web license, without Desktop license. So before acquiring Desktop license we would like to do a Proof Of Concept.
so tried with demo license of Desktop. is there any other way to accomplish POC before purchasing Desktop module.

Does your demo license include both web and desktop? If not, it won't work... the particular technology, as I understand it, requires both. Whatever copy of TestComplete you run, it needs both. I'd suggest contacting your SmartBear sales folks or your customer service rep and see if they can help you get the correct license combination.
