project properties - Object Mapping

Hello,



I am a bit confused about what the Object Mapping properties page does for my project? I am working with Flex applications and I don't see any specific differences when I have all the boxes checked or unchecked.  Could you give me an example on when I would want to add a class? or what will be provided if I click on the Derived Classes checkbox?

    Hi Tracy,





    The Object Mapping feature makes TestComplete treat the unknown control (the one that isn't officially supported by TestComplete) as a known one. The list of the supported controls can be seen under the Adobe Controls branch (this is for TestComplete 9) in the Object Mapping editor.

    I want to list all objects in the Name Mapping window...

    I have used Child object with 'MappedName' property. .



    Its working when application is opened but i have objects from various windows and i want to list all in one shot.



    When application is closed or if i navigate to other pages i am not able to get the mapped name ... 



    Any one help me on this would be great .. Thanks in advance :)
