open an excel and windows application file
i want to run a test where by i open an already created excel file, and a windows application file, and then begin additional test actions.
i'm using excel 2010, on a windows 9 64bit machine.
i have the tested apps in my keyword test script, but i want to use a simple file open command to open a named file from a certain location. if i record the action i get a lot of unnecessary steps and i expect it could be prone to error.

Hi Chris,
You can use the DDT feature to get data from the Excel file for testing. It will be much easier when getting it from Excel's GUI.
