after upgrade to firefox 71 some of the firefox setting do not remain same

After upgrade to Firefox 71 some of the setting for Firefox do not remain the same

https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/general/preparing-browsers/firefox.h...

The settings like

app.update.auto

app.update.enabled

should be false but they can get changed to true when we upgrade from firefox 70 to firefox 71.

Is it a known issue ?

Thanks

NG

Hi,

Are you sure that these settings were not set by Firefox itself?

(Personally I would not be wondered with Mozilla's assumption that they know better;) what you need and thus unconditionally enable auto updating during upgrade process.)

Hi @nisgupta,

I believe that this issue is related to Firefox. Perhaps, when updating there is an option to restore browser configurations to default or use the existing ones. Perhaps, there is a way to export the current Firefox settings to use it in another browser version.
