HiI am currently evaluating TestComplete as an automation solution for our company.It's very possible that I'll be looking to run some tests against browser based applications running on a standalone box running Windows CE 7. Ideally I want to test this in situ, rather than through an emulator, as we will be building the hardware as well as the software.I see from this FAQ entry:http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/8890/That CE is mentioned but only for versions 7 - 8.20.And then a forum post mentioned this like:http://smartbear.com/products/qa-tools/automated-testing-tools/new-testcomplete-features/version-8-50... which suggests that Windows Mobile support has been removed?So, shortened version ....Will I be able to test directly on the device running CE using TC9?

I too would like to see support for Windows CE. Please increase the rating!

Hi All,We are into Printer Manufacturing Company and all Printers runs with the Windows Embedded Compact 7 Operating system along with the Custom App developed by us using the Visual C++ programming.I hope most of the Printers company and Medical Device company follows same as us by using Win CE 7 in their devices.It would be a great help for all guys like us, if Smart Bear can support Win CE in their tools.

Hi All,

At the moment, this is impossible. However, automating testing on mobile devices is a strategic direction for us. Hi Andrew,

At the moment, our TestComplete team is working on the support for testing Android and iOS apps. I cannot tell you for sure when or whether the support for Windows CE will be implemented.
