Weird behavior - object spy not seeing browser or DOM
This issue happens intermittently. TestComplete stops recognizing the DOM or even the browser. This is something that I have seen intermittently before but have not had the time to solve. I reboot and it seems to work. It FEELS like a connection to the license server is not finding the web license. BUt that is weird since it is the only license I have.
Has anyone seen this?

Adding, rebooting does not always do whatever needs to be done to "fix" this.

check Your TestComplete extensions. I had the same issue yesterday, all my plugins was disabled....

I followed the info in docs to prepare Edge (the browser I am having trouble with - really the only one I use right now). All is set correctly.

Hi @vthomeschoolmom,
If you suspect that the issue is somehow related with licensing, try adding the License Manager PC name directly to your license settings (as far as I understand you are using the floating license):

I can see only my sessions, though it looks like I am using 2 sessions with only one instance of TC. Is there some documentation on precisely how and when licensing checks are done? I need to lobby leadership for more licenses.
