Website URL changes

Question

Hello everyone,I have&nbsp;2 questions regarding some Web automating.I have a URL that we use for internal testing and unfortunately&nbsp;part of the URL changes(IP changes based on VM used).&nbsp;My questions are:&nbsp;Does the Web program need the webpage open already or can it open the page itself based on the settings in the 'Run Browser' options?Is it possible to make it so that if the URL IP changes, the playback scripts can read the new URL and not require me to go back in and change that one step in all of the scripts I've created?&nbsp;If more information is required, please let me know and i'll provide them to the best of my ability.&nbsp;ThanksLuis

Yes, you can have your test open the web page.

To compensate for the changing URL, you can do a couple of different things. If the only difference is the vm name and you have access to that, you can build a string with that vm name to use for the URL. The other thing you can do is use wildcards in the URL and just ignore the part that changes.
