Tests steps not being recorded on Chrome due to Visualizer settings

Hi all, 

 

recently had an issue where test steps in recent versions of Testcomplete (14.80 +) were not being recorded when I was using Chrome as the browser. Firefox had no issues.

 

After much investigation  with developers, the issue was identified as being caused by the visualizer gathering object data during the recording.

The fix was to turn off the “Capture tested object properties“ option , under the Collect test visualizer date during  recording section, Visualizer node of the project properties.

 

Might help someone who experiences the same issue.
