TestComplete goes extremely slow with project suite on a network drive

Hi,

I just wanted to know... do am I the only one with freezes and such things while using my TestComplete with a ProjectSuite on a network drive ?

Or is there some people that are experiencing the same thing ?

When I toggle to another script, or open a Stores\Files, etc... often I need to wait dozens of seconds !

I must say that I use our network drives for other purposes (dev, ...) and there is no such slowdown.

Have You got Performance Counters active?

No, I have no performance counter on any of my projects. (Tools\Current project properties\Performance counters)

Hi,

I´ve posted the same problem in the QAC forum. I had my project suite files on our old and full to the brim fileserver. Moving them to a new and mostly empty device increased the performance both in TC as in QAC remarkable.
