TestComplete - SUT Freezes in TC recording mode (Desktop)

Hi,

We ran into a problem when we upgraded the TestComplete to Version: 14.74.437.7 x64. TestComplete & the application under test freeze when TestComplete recording is 'ON'. When I stop recording, application behaves normally again. We found out that when we un-check the file extensions for VBA support, recording works fine for the same application under test. The problem persists even after upgrading to TestComplete version:15.10. 

 

Has anyone run into the same issue? hoping to get this resolved...
