TestComplete 14.60 unable to locate objects in Edge or Chrome on W10

Hello,

I am testing our web app using TestComplete 14.60 and it is unable to identify any of the objects in a panel on MS Edge (88.0.705.63) and Chrome (89.0.4389.90) on W10.

It works fine with Internet explorer.

It can't see anything in the body below (even when the object was ID'd and created in IE first):

It looks like you need TC version 14.74 to support Chrome 89.  That may also fix your Edge problem.

I am stuck with this version for the time being.

 

Does anyone know of a workaround?

I've upgraded to 17.74 and the issue persists.

I have found that it is linked to the fact the code is in an Iframe.

I will open a separate entry to ask this question as I have seen a few entries in here but none of them solve my particular issue.

Thanks for that link Marsha, I didn't spot it in my searches and that that looks very interesting.
