Test Execute - Running Tests on various machines

Hello,

I am new to TestExecute.  I have a project that needs to be run on multiple computers.  How do I use TestExecute to run my scripts on machines that do not have TestComplete installed?  Is there also a user's guide for TestExecute?

Thanks,

Melissa

  • Hi Melissa,

You need to run your test via TE's command line. TE has a help system where it is described how to use it. For information on its command line, see the "TestExecute Command Line" help topic.

    Thnaks for your reply, Jared.

I've read the command line help section which was pretty confusing to me as a first time user.  Do I need to install TestExecute on each test computer in order to access the TestExecute command line?

    Thanks,

    Melissa
  • Hi Melissa,

Yes, TE should be installed on each machine where you need to run tests in it.
