Requesting an SWT Object Unique ID from Developers

Hi,

   To mitigate my TestComplete project's mapping risk (developers may change some of the parent/child relationships that the project currently utilizes) I'd like to have them implement an object UUID that I can instead use to map objects.

    The system tested is a Desktop Java application and the developers are offsite and unfamiliar with TestComplete.

    Is there a specific org.eclipse.swt method that I should ask them to implement the UUID that is easily exposed by TestComplete?
