New behavior in TestComplete version 8.10.487.7

I was previously using TC 8.0 then installed version 8.10.

With v8.10 when I perform keyword test, I get the "RunTestedApp" item at the beginning of each test that I record for a given project.   I don't believe v8.0 did that.   Now I get a warning message that TC won't launch another instance of the application when it runs.



Why am I now getting the RunTestedApp at the beginning of each test?

    Hi Tom,





    The reason for it is the new functionality introduced in TestComplete 8.10 - auto-running tested applications on recording. You can specify whether a tested application is launched when the recording starts in a new Autorun column of the TestedApps and WinCETestedApps editors and in the Create New Project wizard.
