a) The help topic that you are referencing is applicable to Objective-C and Swift iOS applications (Supported Applications paragraph);
b) https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/mobile/ios/about.html help section says that only Objective-C, Swift and Xamarin applications are supported.
Thus it is my understanding that React Native applications are not supported at the moment. But to get an official reply I would recommend to ask Support directly via the https://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=TestComplete form.
