How to link a Test to an external test cases individual steps in Jira

Hi!

I would like to link my test complete test items to external test cases in Jira. I have complex tests in Jira with many individual test steps - can I link them separately to its test steps or I would only be able to link one test from TestComplete to one external issue in Jira?

    I've managed to link my test cases to tests in Jira, but I would like to be able to link them to individual test steps. So when my test is failing, it would only fail on that particular step instead of failing the whole test.
