Floating License

We have a floating license for TestComplete and have it installed and running on one workstation - do we have to uninstall the software to move it to another workstation or is there an option to unactivate the license for that computer?

According to it is my understanding that it is OK to have TC installed on more than one workstation for the floating license type.

But you may wait for official reply from Automated's Support as I am just a user like you (see my signature).

Hi Morgan,

You can install the tool on any number of machines. The Floating User license limits the number of simultaneously working users. So, there is no need to uninstall TestComplete to move it to another computer. See this FAQ article for details.
