Execution time in testcomplete11.11.1064.7 is extremely slow

Hi,

   Ii have installed trial version of testcomplete 11.11.1064.7 and a minimum set of test case is taking 6 hours to execute. I have tried all the posts mentioned in the support article reagarding the play back option and nothing helped. But if I run the same set of test cases on  a machine having test complete 9 it takes 10 minutes.

 

Please note the configuration of both the machines are same. I am using a brand new laptop with intel i5 processor 4 gb ram and windows 7 64 bit OS.

Can anyone from Smartbear explain why this strange behaviour while working with the new version of testcomplete

    We are having the same problem.

     

    We did some analysis of the logs and it appears that most of the time (20sec+) is spent creating/caching the object map for the 1st time on the remote machine - and that this is repeated for each "test item".

     

    For now I am going to try creating a single test script that calls all my unit tests and create a single test item for it and seeing if that improves things.  (Not ideal but lets see)

     

    Will repost if we find a solution.
