Error - "Install 64-Bit Version Of M/Soft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE Database Provider"

Hi,

I Get The Error Above When I Try To Use An Excel File (.xlsx, and, .xls) For A Data Driven Test.

I Tried Downloading The Necessary File From: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255.

I Still Get The Error. But, I Am Using The Guidance From This Page; https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2874601/can-t-use-the-access-odbc-driver-or-oledb-provider-outside-office-clic To Troubleshoot The Error.

If Anyone Else Has Any Suggestion(s), Please, Let Me Know.

Thanks.....

What version of TC are you using? What code or keyword test functionality are you using to access the excel data?  Once you downloaded the file, did you install the 64-bit driver?  If you're running the 64-bit version of TC, you need to have the 64-bit driver.

    Hi,

Assuming you are using TC version 12.40 or above and that your test ran previously, try to run it using 32-bit flavor of TestCOmplete that can be found in the <TestComplete>\bin\ folder.
