I finished building a test yesterday and proving that it works prior to a meeting this morning to demonstrate my work with Test Complete 14.30, yesterday afternoon I noticed that 14.50 was available for update so I updated my system and now none of my tests will pass that use a dropdown menu. Also if I try to record the steps into my current test it will not record those steps dropdown in my current test.
Found the issue, I'm not sure if it was a setting issue form the update for something else but the checkbox for Capture style I guess I had Desktop selected and not Top-Level parent. Working as it should now.
