Can TestComplete automatically create defect in QAComplete when automated test is failed?

Hello,

I am new to TestComplete and would like to know that when automated test gets triggered by a build tool, can TestComplete create defect automatically in QAComplete if the test is failed?

Thank you,

crazyJ

  • I figured out. Using Winzip to unzip the .tcx file. I am able to view the functions.

    Thank you,

      Hello Tanya,

Thanks for providing the link. By 'automatically', I mean 'no human intervention'. For example, can TestComplete post defect in QAComplete during a night build? I guess this can be implemented by writing functions in Script.

I am using TestComplete11 and the folder Bin\Extensions\ScriptExtensions does have the script extensions, however, no idea how the functions work?

Would you please provide some help here?

      Thank you,

      CrazyJ
