Hi,
a) TestComplete must be installed and executed on the same machine where the tested application is running;
b) TestComplete can be installed on the virtual machines, but the use of Floating license is highly recommended in order to avoid licence locking due to changed hardware parameters;
c) TestExecute may be considered as tests execution runtime to lower the licenses cost.
