Is there a way to test an iOS application with just an ipa file and not have to instrument it? I also have the application installed directly on the iOS device itself. I'm just getting the impression there is no way to test this application without "instrumenting". Please advise.
The short answer so far is "no". iOS security is such that you can't even use image-based testing on iOS until you have an instrumented app. Until then, you'll get the message below in the Mobile Screen that says as much. And unlike Android apps, there's no simple developer's certificate you can use for quick and dirty instrumentation.
