Alias get corrupted. Restart of application is needed.

Hi All,

 

I have a problem. I hope somebody can help me with it

 

SCENARIO:

  • I'm using TestComplete, creating several Keywordtests, running Keywordtests --> No problems so far
  • After some time the Mapped objects can not be found anymore. When I use the Object Spy to identify an object, some strange path is visible (See PIC).
  • After restarting my To-be-tested application, everything is back to normal again. (See PIC)

Does anybody have a clue what might be causing this?

    I suggest that calling RefreshMappingInfo Method when test suppose to run for a long time

    Also make sure the tested application is not launched multiple times.  Verify in the windows task manager.
