- Ryan_MoranValued ContributorSimple VB example:
Set wShell = CreateObject("wScript.Shell")
wShell.Run "notepad"
'alternatively you can use .exec method if you need to wait for the application to load - tristaanogreEsteemed ContributorThere are any number methods of doing so. What I've used in the past is that I've implemented a WScript.Shell object and called the Run method. That pretty much allows you to run anything that you would at a command line

You would use the Sys.OleObject property (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/56929/) to instantiate the WScript.Shell within your VBScript.
Hope this helps. - HKosovaSmartBear Alumni (Retired)
