TestComplete11 taking too long on FindChild in Chrome 45

Hi,

TC11 taking too much time during execution of tests if we used FindChild for the page. Is there anyway to reduce this time?

    Fair few of us have same issue, also with FindChildByXPath function.

     

    I have tests that take nearly 4x longer in Chrome 45 compared to the IE11/FF40

    I have the same issue with TestComplete 10.50 and Chrome 40.

     

    I think there must be a long standing issue here.

     

    I was planning on upgrading TestComplete and  possibly Chrome, but am reluctant to spend lots of time doing this only to find I still have issues.

      Hi All,

       

      We have released TestComplete 11.11 where our R&D team has fixed the issue related to the slow test execution in Chrome. I recommend that you update to this product version and check if you see the time differences.

        Hi Tanya,

        Moved already on TestComplete 11.11 and feeling the difference of performance in chrome. Good work guys.

        Also looking some good improvements in findchild with chrome 45.
