Error adding test case [..] to test run: File extension specified '.tc10test' is not a valid extension

Error adding test case [..] to test run: File extension specified '.tc10test' is not a valid extension.



I am getting this error when I try to run the testcomplete script from MTM (Test Controller and Test Agent).



Any help would be appreciated.

    I guess MTM stands for Microsoft Test Manager.

    Please follow the instructions from Running TestComplete Tests as Part of a Test Plan



    Namely, check that Visual Studio Integration feature was selected when installing TestComplete, the environment meets the requirements and test projects are configured properly.

    I think I followed all the rules. But let me check one more time if it is set up issue.

    Any other suggestions?

    I am getting this problem as well and can't work out a solution.

     

    Am attempting to run test from MTM to a test agent with TestExecute installed.

     

    Setup with VS2013 seems fine

     

    Any ideas?
