Unable to spy or select an infragistic treeview item on window 10, TC12

    Hi All

     

    Thanks heaps for all your replies.  One of my work colleagues in here has figured out the issue.  My Set custom scaling level is scaling up to 250% and my screen resolution is 3840*2160

     

    Now Set custom scaling level is setting at 100% and my screen resolution is 1920*1080, it is working fine

The problem here that I used to be able spy my treeview item on Window7 but I cannot spy on window10 anymore.

 

Howerver, if I look into my Object Browser Tree, I see my treeview item and I can create mapped object.  Those example I show was freshly created for this demonstrating  purpose, not old one.

 

I cannot record of any treeview item selection like I do on Window7.   

 

Please refer to the attachments for the spying issue that I have been mentioning

    That's strange... why would Object Spying and such not work because of scaling?  Glad you got it worked out but I'm curious as to why that made a difference.

      It works, but considers objects to be located at the wrong position.

      Exactly as stated by the logged error:

      > => Error "There was an attempt to perform an action at point (74, 10) which is transparent or out of the window bounds"

       

      This is the same problem as discussed here: https://community.smartbear.com/t5/TestComplete-Desktop-Testing/VCLObject-not-recognized-in-Windows-10/td-p/135795

       

      And, based on my own experience and forum posts, I noted that it seems to be pretty common for Windows 10 environments to have screen scaling to be set to the values higher than 100% which (sometimes?) causes object's identification problems like those discussed.
