query parameters, headers not available when adding request to test case

Given I create a resource with a header and a query parameter. 

Whn I add this to my testcase by dragging it to the test case test steps, 

Then there is no header or query parameter for the request. 

 

So my request cannot have a query parrameter.

 

Please let me know if there is anyother information I can provide. 

 

This is driving me crazy as it works for my other resources and I belive this should not be happening.

    Any ideas on this? 

    I could provide more info if i knew what to include.

      It is only for one of my request methods. 

       

      if i create a new resourse with the same name the headers are not copied.

       

      but... if i create a resourse with a different name the headers remain... weird... i can then rename it back after  i have added it to the testcase. 

       

      the name i had was "coupons" which shouldnt matter as i have nammed other things in soapui this before with out issues.
