I am planiing to implement REST automation using open source soupUI , is there any mandatory to take pro version ?
I am new to this soupUI,please help me out on this team before i kick start, thanks in advance
You are not obliged to take the pro-version. However, and no surprise, is that you don't get all the functionality of the pro-version.

SoapUI Pro ( Ready API) - license required
I have been using SoapUI open source along with plenty of examples and help on the web.
A very powerful tool and works great.
