Better Support of XML-Data-Sources

I went thru the actual description of the orignal topic (first one) when last reply was sent, may be i could not go thru all of replies and thanks for point the cause of concern.

Please see the two attachments 1) sample xml used 2)datasource xml step where i could see the data when you run the step

If you notice Xml Data, there are mulitple Rows( that is person with ns1 as namespace), each row has two Columns(firstName, lastName with ns2 as namespace) and top level response has ns as namespace.

So, the correction is to use '*:' as prefix (using Edit button) to the column xpath value as shown in the Column Xpaths

Below you can see firstName with two records.

Here is another example with different name spaces and column data in attribute this time instead of node. May be you will be more clear.
The trick is if you select first element, you have to select its child node only for column xpath. Hope this is clear.

Hi Temil,

I really would like to open a case using the web form.
But (as I already explained at another post earlier) I'm not able to.

When I select an answer for the first two questions, they reset to "Please select one...".
After any selection to this lists has the same effect.

And even if I can insert all the other information, I finaly cannot submit because of the missing input above.

What browser are you using? can you please Use an alternative (firefox, chrome, etc) or upgrade the current one. Thanks.

we are using IE 9.
Because of some limitations we can't neither update this browser nor install a different one.

Is there another way to open a case?
