Update the WADL. Is there a way to update the WADL.
Is there is a way in SoapUI (Ready API) to reload the new WADL? Right now the WADLs are changed by dev team, renamed some of the methods and added new methods and removed some methods. I have all my test scripts written to the old WADL. but want to update the WADL and being able to use my scripts with new WADL. For some cases I see the Refresh button to the WADL but in my case I don't see the refresh button.
I have this questions in the older forums but could not find the solution and not sure if the feature is implemented in the Ready API.
I am using Ready API 1.2.2 presently. Your response is greatly appreciated.

Is there a way we can update the WADL and keep it upto date using SoapUI 5.2.0.

Hi,
I’m not sure if this feature was implemented in SoapUI OS. The best way to make sure is to install this tool version and check it. Could you please post your results here?

Hi,
I installed the SoapUI 5.2.0 and could not get the option to update the WADL defination.I also checked the Interfaces and packages available for SoapUI and could not find anything in that too to dynamically Update the WADL.
One of the option I found on one of the smartbear blog is to re-load the WADL with the help of an button which is only available if WADL is available some where online.
But in my case I am using an .wadl file stored on my machine.
SO i am still looking for an way to do this either using the GUI or through Groovy.
Is there anything I can do to achieve this.

Hello SoapUIUser1,
Did you consider moving to SoapUI NG? This product version is constantly improved and we regularly add new and modern features. We often update SoapUI OS, as well. However, not so often.

I'm using SoapUI 5.2.0. So I asume, that the Ready! API is only available within SoapUI NG Pro?
Thanks for your quick reply 😉
