Hi @arunsarode
the logging at when you boot ReadyAPI! is identical (more or less) to mine until it gets to here:
Mon Jul 01 11:44:03 IST 2019: ERROR: Failed to start IPC process. com.teamdev.jxbrowser.chromium.internal.ipc.IPCException: Failed to start IPC process. at com.teamdev.jxbrowser.chromium.internal.ipc.d.run(SourceFile:200) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "C:\Users\abc\AppData\Local\JxBrowser\browsercore-64.0.3282.24.6.21\browsercore64.exe" (in directory "C:\Users\abc\AppData\Local\JxBrowser\browsercore-64.0.3282.24.6.21"): CreateProcess error=5, Access is denied
I haven't got much of a suggestion - but if I were you I'd raise a tech support request with SmartBear.
There was another user that appears to have had a similar/equivalent issue - but he was running Linux x64 - he added/updated a couple of .jar libraries and this resolved his issue - but that was a different operating system (link) - unfortunately there wasn't anything on the link to indicate how he diagnosed the problem - but you both have issues with the jxbrowser component.....
Yeah - unless anyone else has any opinions I'd raise the service request.
Sorry I can't be of more help,
rich

Hi all,
@arunsarode, do you have any updates? Did the link to the Community topic that Rich provided help?
In case you decide to raise a support ticket, please follow this link: https://support.smartbear.com/message/?prod=ReadyAPI
We are looking forward to hearing from you.

We're experiencing a very similar, if not exact, issue with the same blank screen result. We're using Windows 10 Enterprise (build 1809) with Java 8 update 211 and JRE 8 update 211. This began, for us, on Monday, July 8th. I submitted a ticket and the initial response was to uninstall and reinstall; however, reinstallation process would not complete and presented an "Error 20" pop-up. Ugh!
It wasn't until our local tech support did some brief web searching to find that Java may have been negatively impacting the installation that we were able finish the install and get back to the original blank screen issue. The recommendation was to uninstall Java 8 Update 211 and JRE Update 211. What version of Java or Jre is required?
Attached is a post install log file, but this error stands out:
"Thu Jul 11 14:42:14 PDT 2019: ERROR: Failed to initialize or establish a connection with a Chromium render process. You are observing this exception as the render process didn't respond within 120 seconds after the Browser constructor has been invoked."

Hi,
I'm using 1.8.0_144 (Java 8 update 144) and I don't get the blank screen
It looks like there has been another update since you installed your java version (Java 8 update 212). Obviously I don't know if this latest version will resolve your problem - but as I say I don't get the blank screen with my version.
The Java Downloads Archive (to download previous versions of Java) link is here

Thank you, Richie. Unfortunately, I'm not in full control of what version of Java and Jre that can be loaded on my work machine due to security reasons. As odd as it might sound, I may be able to go backward in version, but may not be able to upgrade versions. I'll see what I can do though.

FYI. We've determined that McAfee's Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) is the cause of this issue for us.

Hey @socaltester
if your policy inhibits updating yoru java runtime i wouldve thought there's no way you can disable your AV.
Curious - how are you going to handle this?
