Issue with running SOAP UI free next to SOAP UI Pro

need to have both versions running at the same time . However seems like when you have them run side by side same project loads up in both version without opening the project in both. 

Also when saving get a override warning. Is this normal?. how can this be avoided?.

I havent delebrately opened the same project in both versions.

Not sure of your use case, can you please describe it?
Check your preferences. Usually soapui saves the project on exit. That is why the message.
