Getting 308 Permanent Redirect code on ReadyApi for url and end points that works great on Postman
I am getting 308 Permanent Redirect code for an end point that I am trying to test on Ready-API. When I try the same end point on Postman I receive 200 status code. I'm using Ready-API HTTP Request for the same.
- Also both Postman and Ready-API has same authorization setup - BASIC
- I see that "Follow Redirects = true" both in Postman as well as in Ready-API, the answer didn't help me: https://community.smartbear.com/t5/API-Functional-Security-Testing/Getting-308-Redirect-code-on-REad....
- Most of the parameters are verified and are same as in Postman.
- May be I'm suspecting "Content-Type: application/xml" which in Postman has a different value "Content-Type: application/vnd.realtime247.sct-v2+xml"
Please help me.

Hey @sanathkd,
Can you please post all the headers generated for request and response from Postman and then all the headers from request and response from ReadyAPI, so they can be compared please?
Im assuming youve got same auth, URI and payloads for both, so need to focus on headers.

if this helped answer the post, could you please mark it as 'solved'? Also if you consider whether the title of your post is relevant? Perhaps if the post is solved, it might make sense to update the Subject header field of the post to something more descriptive? This will help people when searching for problems. Ta
