Security of storing login information

We have our Code Collaborator setup to use LDAP. I'm wondering how securely ccollab login stores the username and password since that type of information can't be left lying around.  Is it encrypted, or is it just in some text file?  I couldn't find it in my cursory searches.

    Hi Libby,



    Currently, we store a login ticket id in a file in the <home directory>/.smartbear called com.smartbear.ccollab.client.txt.
