Is it possible to enable and support the automated install and configuration of the Collaborator server? There are some features with potential (-c, -q, -varfile) but these are very basic (database and ldap config only) and are not functional when attempting an unattended install on a new server. It would be neat if the server could be stood up without a licence or at least ship with an "admin only" (no login) access so that the server can be installed with LDAP/AD and database integration configured from a response file and potentially configure with API / REST interface. In our case the servers do not have internet access so this feature will need to accommodate that fact, in particular I would expect the request and install of the license to be a manual step conducted some time after the install and database and LDAP/AD configuration has completed.

One thing that would be good to have in reporting is the ability to get the full audit history of a given review. Currently the review report only gives you the current status and history of defects and attachments I believe. For instance, recently we had a case where a review was created, then cancelled and re-opened multiple times, before being cancelled again. The built-in report only shows the last status of cancelled, but also doesn't say who cancelled it. Having looked at the review event table, the actions could not be linked to the user at all. The only other way to do this is currently to check the notifications table, if that is not being archived/cleaned up. That or set up a custom notification to populate a table. But this would be good to have built-in.

It would be great to be able to right-click on a folder with changes and start a review from there.

Could we shorten the text in the UI defect to possibly remove day of the week or shorten date to xx/xx? Or like 2 hrs ago or today, yesterday, 2 mins ago. If we shorten the date, it might make this pane more readable, particularly when it carries over to a new line due to a long name, etc.

In the eclipse and RTC plugin it can take a long time for all possible existing reviews to be pulled when attempting to add files or changesets to an existing review. It would greatly speed things up if there was an option to enter a review ID to search instead of searching for all possible reviews for a given user.

Scenario: 1. Project on two RTC servers (CLM & CCM2) 2. Create a work item task on project located on CCM2 server 3. Check-in all and deliver from CLM server project and 'Associate Change Request' from CCM2 server project (This will create Change Sets (Remote), under work item task) 4. Change state to 'Closed' in work item task and Code Review does NOT get created I can create code reviews on both RTC servers when work item and change sets are on the server. It is when the above steps are taken, it does not create a code review when the work item state is set to Complete.

It would be useful to be able to organize review materials into something like a folder structure. E.g. to reflect the organization of source code packages or to segregate supporting reference material or checklists (that are not necessarily for review themselves) from actual review material.

I am using Collaborator Enterprise 13.6 and trying to archive my nearly 1 TB of data in my Content Cache folder on my server. We have tried to archive off to a separate network location (to free up space on my server) and it will not copy the files. We have to do this the brute force method and archive to a location on the same server (small increments) then copy that archive to the other network location. We will have to do this with each incremental archive. Then they are not together, but they are still individual archives. I would like to request that the ability to archive to another network location be added so that when an archive is done, the data is all together in one Content Cache folder, and I don't have to look through a bunch of separate archives to find the review I want to restore.

We have several projects where funding is volatile, and work efforts get shut off/turned on with very little notice. Collaborator reviews stay open indefinitely, which is not ideal. Users also don't like pages of stagnant reviews on their dashboards. We would like to move these reviews to a deferred state, rather than have to cancel them, since they may resume again in the future. It makes sense, and would be a useful feature.

Hi, Would love to have the capability to order the the fields of the Review in the Review page. For example - I have a Review custom field that needs to come right after the 'Deadline' field. So the capability to move change the order of the fields would be helpful. Thanks, Puneet.

I cannot use the keyboard shortcut for next/previous file ctrl+[ and ctrl+] because I have a German keyboard layout. For the [ key I need the AltGr key. The combination of ctrl and AltGr seems not to work. I tried all possible key combinations, but the shortcut doesn't work.

It would be nice to be able to use the command-line interface to do a small level of SCM integration with unsupported SCMs. My preferred solution would be to have an SCM value that means "Custom-No-SCM interaction" and then be able to specify a change set id when using adddiffs command. This would allow the changesets to be tracked the way Collaborator intendeds without actually needing direct SCM interaction.

I work for a company that focuses on electronics design. We do hundreds of schematic reviews and board layout reviews every month. Currently, we do not have a way of reviewing board layout, except having someone open up the editing software and stepping through the design. However, an ultimate feature would be if collaborator natively understood KiCAD file formats. KiCAD is a premier, open source, electronics design suite and the PCB files are plain text and designed to work with git. If you could consume kicad files and diff them for us; that would open up an entire new market for you.

The admin should be able to create custom messages that would be displayed on each of the login page and the create new user page. I would use this to tell them whom to ask if they have trouble, and any conventions such as "use your linux username as the Collaborator username".

When using the Automatic Links feature, generated links currently always open in a new window (they have the HTML attribute target="_blank" set). However, some URL protocols are handled by locally installed applications instead of actually showing up in the browser window. For protocols like this, the user is left with an empty new browser window (or tab) that they have to manually close. It would be nice to have an option when creating an Automatic Link for whether or not the generated link should open in a new window.
