We have multiple accounts. When making a query using the JSON API, devices for only one account are returned. I tried to specify the &metasearch=custid:<custid>& parameter like the user interface uses, but the API doesn't respect this value. I verified this through support, who sent me here.
Our goal is to include Alertsite data in our observability efforts. Having this feature would allow us to do this.
Allow Account in JSON API Query

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the JSON API not returning devices for multiple accounts when using the &metasearch=custid:<custid>& parameter. This could be a limitation of the API or a configuration issue. I recommend reaching out to the support team again to investigate further and escalate the issue if necessary.

API Update: We kindly request an update to the AlertSite JSON API that allows specifying multiple account IDs or a flag to include all accounts.
Alternative Approach: If an API update isn't feasible in the short term, please advise on any alternative methods to retrieve data qatar traffic 👌 for all accounts programmatically (e.g., separate API calls or batch processing).
- The API is returning data for only one account, ignoring the &metasearch=custid:<custid>& parameter.
- This suggests either:
- The API does not support cross-account queries directly.
- The custid parameter is being ignored or improperly passed.
