Potential Bugs in Zephyr

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I could not find a way to report issues in Zephyr, therefor I decided to ask here.

We freshly switched to Zephyr and while we are very happy that we made the jump, we did encounter 3 issues so far. What is especially interesting, I could not find a forum post discussing them so far, so maybe it is an issue on our side and not with Zephyr itself?

Any help or pointing into the right direction is highly appreciated.

Issue #1 - Attachments cannot be uploaded to Test Executions or Test Cycles

It does fail whenever we try to attach a txt file to a Test Execution or a Test Cycle. For Test Executions, nothing happens and not even an error is displayed. When uploading to a Test Cycle, We receive a "Error while uploading".

If I check the Network Responses via F12 I find one particular issue whenever the upload of the attachment is attempted. Apperently we run into an issue with the "strict-origin-when-cross-origin" policy. Now I have to admit, my network knowledge is rather limited so I am not even sure this is indeed the source of the issue.

Issue #2 - Links via the Zephyr Plugin in Jira tickets do now work if they refer to Zephyr Objects outside of the Jira Project

When we try to use the Zephyr Plugin in a regular Jira Ticket to add existing Zephyr Objects (Test Cases, Cycles or Plans), it will add them without issues and show the correct status. But if we click on the Zephyr Object Code to access the embedded link to the object, it will instead show us a page saying "We can't find the page you're looking for - This view does not exist in this space. Error Code 404"

The same does not happen if we link a Zephyr Object that is in the same Jira Space as the Jira Ticket though.

Issue #3 - Importing old TestRay Test Cases does not work

We have a load of old Test Cases left over from TestRay that we'd like to import into Zephyr. These Test Cases are stored as csv files. Everytime we select a file for importing we receive the following error message: "The uploaded file could not be parsed. It seems to have invalid content. Try agai by uploading a valid file."

We tried to change their formatting in various different forms. Strangely, I am quite sure those files could be uploaded some time ago when we first tried Zephyr in our Sandbox environment.

Now, I am pretty well aware that these issue might not necessarily stem from Zephyr but maybe from our side, but so far I could not identify how to solve them. If anyone can point me towards how to reach the Support for Zephyr or might know how we could solve this issue on our end, it would be highly appreciated! If more information is needed, I gladly provide them.

Best Regards,
Daniel
