I am using Test Complete 9.30, when i do Script recording - When i try to create LLP using Windows Co ordinates. Window name is not captured correctly.Instead of(Sys["Process"]("002")["WPFObject"]("HwndSource: MainWindow", "Funnel Chart Demo"));It shows asSys["Process"]("002")["Window"]("HwndWrapper[002.exe;;7e0e5dea-be12-4623-a654-78f80a3de01d]", "Funnel Chart Demo", 1)Please provide suggestion to slove this issue.Regards,Sujatha B

Hi Sameer, TestComplete 9 doesn't support .NET Framework 4.5.1. This is the reason why your application isn't recognized properly. Support for this .NET Framework version is implemented in TestComplete 10.

Hi Sujatha, Your tested application isn't recognized properly by TestComplete for some reason. Try increasing the value of the Method invoke timeout project option. Refer to the "Project Properties - General Open Applications Options" article for details.

Hi Sujatha, I don't think that Name Mapping may affect the correct object recognition. The only thing that changed is that TestComplete stopped accessing test objects via mapped names. Please answer the following questions to help us better understand the issue: 1. What .NET Framework version is installed on your computer? 2. What. NET Framework version was used to build your test app? 3. Hi,

.NET Framework 4.5 is officially supported by TestComplete starting from v. 9.10.

I'm having the same issue.

Test Complete 8.2

Testing a 32 bit .Net 4.0 WPF application

.Net 3.5, 4.0, & 4.5 all installed on the system

Works fine as long as .Net 4.5 isn't installed

The sample Orders application works fine

Is there anyway to get it working without upgrading TestComplete and/or uninstalling .Net 4.5?

Hi Todd,

.NET Framework 4.5 installs some updates to v.4.0. That's why, TestComplete stops recognizing your app.

The only way to proceed is to uninstall v. 4.5 or install the new TestComplete version.
