What is mean by 'searchRange = "a1:hz500" ' define in help example

Hi all,



I am new in java,and i im trying to use tha same programm given in suport  document 'http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/24734/?_ga=1.97005468.2046820908.1380191740

o here they  have used 'searchRange = "a1:hz500" to define range so can any one explain me what is a1,hz,and 500. and how can i change the range.

    You question addressed not to java (?) but to Excel cell addressing schema.

    a1:hz500 describes coordinates of square region starting from first column (A) and first row (1) of a spreadsheet and ending with column named HZ and line number 500. Of course you are free to designate your own region for search.

    For example, if you want to search within two first columns only and 150 lines down the search range should be a1:b150.
