which property of the child alias are you setting within the parameters? I remember vaguely that Exists property is not recommended for some reason, and that may be the core issue (even though it still does not explain why it hangs over the designated time period). Even if I don't check for the exists property it doesn't seem to affect the time it takes so Im not sure if that would be the issue. Would you recommend using a different waitX method to check for an objects existence then though?
